Salary: Up to �43,500 depending on experience
Job Purpose:
Join our client's renowned Propulsion Engine Test Centre as a Senior Engine Test Technician. You will play a pivotal role in the successful completion of customer test programmes, contributing your expertise in running propulsion systems in a testbed environment. Working closely with the Engineering team, you will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all test procedures.

Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Health and Safety and quality procedures throughout testing procedures.
Assist in unit palletization and setup of instrumentation according to Engineering team requirements.
Validate basic engine running and associated systems in a test cell environment.
Collaborate with the team to fulfill customer test requirements for specific development programs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, working closely with Engineering for solutions.
Perform servicing, hardware changes, and complex calibration tasks as required.
Conduct quality control and validation of unit test data.
Take ownership of test cell equipment and hardware.
Liaise with Engineers, Supervisors, and customers on a technical level.
Contribute to waste reduction and optimization of efficiency initiatives.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
City and Guilds and/or Full Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC, or similar in Automotive Engineering.
Solid automotive background, preferably in a test cell environment.
Strong understanding of engine fundamentals and related systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
Commitment to Health and Safety procedures and practices.
Professional attitude under pressure with good communication skills.
