Senior Engagement and Partnerships Manager
In this role, you will work across our unique network of football Clubs to energise the foundation’s mission to empower healthier lives for city youth through football worldwide. Your main focus will be to engage fans, employees, players, and sponsors to support our work in diverse ways. You’ll draw on your leadership skills, innovation and industry expertise to deliver best in class campaigns, fundraising, and volunteering initiatives, producing joined up commercial and social impact. This is a critical role in our global foundation team, with line management of a CFF executive and the opportunity to develop in post as our purpose driven work grows across the group.Closing Date of Applications – 11/04/2024City Football Foundation- Our StoryThe City Football Foundation is the global foundation arm of City Football Group, the world’s leading private owner and operator of football clubs, with total or partial ownership of twelve clubs in major cities across the world, including Manchester City FC. The foundation uses football to empower healthier lives for over 50,000 young people in 20+ cities worldwide through a mixture of grant funding, young leader training, and cause driven campaigns, engaging fans, partners, players and sponsors en mass.Our Winning TeamIn this role, you will work across our unique network of football Clubs to energise the foundation’s mission to empower healthier lives for city youth through football worldwide. This is a critical role in our global foundation team, with line management of a CFF executive and the opportunity to develop in post as our purpose driven work grows across the group.Engaging sponsors to support our foundation and wider cause related work across the group locally and globally, harnessing business capabilities for social good, including the creation of bespoke activations that drive joined up community and brand impact.Working across departments to lead our global foundation fan, player and staff engagement, including campaigns, volunteering, fundraising initiatives, and player visits. Building internal expertise in purpose driven stakeholder engagement, to be shared across Clubs and departments, including our local foundations, EDI, and Sustainability teams.Working across teams to develop impact measurement frameworks that capture the impact of our global foundation activities on fans, partner brands, and our workforce.Building a plan to enhance industry engagement and recognition, including participation in relevant forums, knowledge networks, events, and awards.Becoming a visible champion of our foundation and wider purpose driven work across the group, inspiring awareness and engagement internally and externally.What we are looking forA true passion for making a difference through purpose driven work.Knowledge of sports industry or CSR or non profit landscape.Outstanding communication and project management skills.Degree in marketing, international development, business or associated field (Or equivalent experience)The nice to haves:Experience engaging brands, employees and customers with social causes.Experience co-ordinating/ delivering cause related campaigns.Broad knowledge of the fundraising and/or volunteering landscape.Experience managing international projects or partnerships.Experience leading individuals or teams.
