Just like you As a Lidl Senior Energy Management Consultant, you will lead a range of strategic-level projects on energy topics, involving key national and international stakeholders. From coordinating national tenders, to negotiation, you'll plan utility budgets and monitor monthly spends. You'll also provide regular cost and consumption reports to Senior Management, becoming a trusted advisor and a key point of contact for the Facilities department.

Create consumption forecasts and benchmarks for budget planningDay to day analysis, monitoring and reporting of costs and consumptionTendering and negotiation of utility suppliers and service providersWorking with the International Procurement to develop energy procurement strategiesValidate utility invoices and challenge deviationsManage external contractors and consultants (bureau services and project managers)Develop innovative business cases for new ways to save energy or costs and present to senior managementSupport the wider team with the management of the Energy Management System ISO50001Collaborating with numerous stakeholders to ensure the success and improvement of Lidl's ISO50001 systemSupport the Energy team to define and deliver the operational energy management goalsNetwork with and communicate these goals to the wider businessEnsure compliance with energy legislation to maintain the company's reputation What you'll need
Demonstrable experience in energy procurement and/or energy management related fieldRelevant degree is highly desirableExperience with Power Purchase Agreements preferrableA clear and confident presenterHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate and analyse large quantities of dataDetail oriented, analytically minded and able to interpret and present complex data setsAbility to communicate effectively with a variety of groups such as peers, senior management, and outside contactsAbility to prioritise and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlinesWillingness to travel locally and at times internationally What you'll receive
