It’s why we’re looking for someone who’s just as committed as we are, to push for genuine change and bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life.We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.What we can offer you;- 25 days of annual leave- Access to our company pension scheme- Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers- Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to- One paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your community- Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potentialWhat you'll be doing;Supporting new project developmentSupport the development of new energy projects, the optimisation of existing contracts and lead the delivery of decarbonisation surveys and energy audits by:Identifying and quantifying potential energy savings and expected performance of energy / HVAC systems, incl. site surveys and modelling.Contributing to and/or own the bidding financial models (from several £100k’ and up to several £10m’)Contributing to bid winning strategiesSupporting contract negotiation on the aspects of guaranteed performances and Measurement & Verification (M&V)Supporting grant application processesContribute to identify, quantify and mitigate the performance risk on new projects and existing contracts, and support the internal governance.Continuously improve existing technical and commercial modelling tools and develop new models for emerging technologies.Data analysis & improvement identificationSupport our Operations teams identifying variations in technical KPIs actual vs target, and investigate root causeIdentify improvement opportunities, through data analysis, desktop surveys and site auditsDevelop action plans.Benchmark performance of sites utilising standards and best practices & report/ take action on findingsDriving Innovation Lead technology watchEvaluate viability and potential business models for emerging technologies in the fields of energy and decarbonisationWhat we're looking for;Relevant experience in the energy or building services sectorAdvanced proficiency in spreadsheetsEnergy modelling experienceA degree in mechanical engineering or similar subjectTechnical knowledge of building and industrial energy systems: HVAC, steam, hot water, CHP, heat pumps, chilled water, district energy, building services, hydraulicsExperience in decarbonisation and/or energy savings schemesUnderstanding of energy marketsIf you don't meet all of our outlined requirements we’d still love for you to apply.
