My client has the exciting opportunity of an experienced Senior Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join their Edinburgh office. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate of joining one of the UK's largest multidiscipline consultancy who provide nation wide energy and net zero carbon services.

Role responsibilities include:

• Liaise with clients, identifying their energy performance and net zero carbon needs, and provide advice and sustainable solutions.
• Take the leadership role and work alongside colleagues on a range of projects to ensure the best practice of energy and sustainability is achieved.
• Manage energy performance certification projects and use IES-VE to create building simulation models.
• Carry out dynamic simulation modelling to address environmental assessments such as daylight calculations and overheating analysis.
• Undertake appraisals of existing buildings and new developments to focus on MEES compliance, net zero carbon and operational energy performance.

Role Requirements include:

• Strong relevant experience within an engineering or energy and carbon consultancy role
• Relevant MSc within a sustainability or environmental engineering field
• Experience delivering projects with the built environment or building services, having good knowledge within these sectors.
• Experience developing low and zero carbon energy strategies, as well as knowledge of software's such as Revit and Python
• Strong knowledge of energy modelling, as well as energy and sustainability frameworks and legislation.
• CIBSE LCEA level 5 accreditation and experience with Part L would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Full UK driving license
