Our client, a well established market leader within the Defence Maritime industry is looking for skilled Electronic Test Engineers to join the team. In this senior role, your primary focus will be on ensuring thorough testing of PCBs throughout the organisation. You will lead the development and oversight of a strong testing procedure to guarantee the best performance and efficiency of PCB designs as we enter an exciting phase of equipment development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of eclectronic test sytems, ensuring they meet the highest standards.


• Analyse and optimise electronic systems for peak performance, generating test systems for exceptional designs. 


• Monitor a testing process of your choosing.


• Capture and document electronic test schematics and designs with precision.


• Collaborate with engineering and project teams, demonstrating adaptability and versatility in handling diverse testing tasks.


• Participate in internal and external meetings, sharing insights to shape the future for the business.

Requirements:

• Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering


• Team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative environment


• Experience in specifying electronic componenets (Attention to detail & critical thinking)


• Knowledge of electronic testing standards.


• Proficient with MS Office


• Quick learner, flexible and adaptable engineering approach.


• Familiar with electronic schematic capture

Desirable:

• XJtag and LabVIEW Test Stand, highlighting proficiency in cutting-edge testing tools.


• Experience designing electronic test systems
