Your Job Opportunity As Senior Electronics Engineer

In this role you will grow to lead the development of key areas of new product development, depending on your experience. This is a diverse role due to the nature of the product and you will work towards a holistic system approach to development. However, you will initially be able to bring a strong background in analogue electronics and working knowledge of digital electronics and firmware development.

It is expected that, you will then build your knowledge and expertise to become proficient in an increasing number of areas, working towards leading complete system development. This will include exciting areas such as ultrasonic transduction, electromagnetism, materials, and mechanical engineering particularly selection and use of materials, digital and low noise analogue electronics, firmware, signal processing, hazardous area design, design for manufacture.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress into engineering management. While developing a wider overview and expertise in systems engineering.

Your Responsibilities As Senior Electronics Engineer

Lead the development of sensor systems with technical excellence and design rigor.

Clearly communicate design decisions through written and verbal channels.

Specify requirements for design subcontractors, ensuring on-time delivery and knowledge transfer.

Manage the manufacture of components for verification testing.

Execute and review verification tests, delivering project milestones on time

Develop domain expertise within the team and transfer knowledge effectively.

Apply and understand relevant design standards, especially for hazardous areas.

Qualifications And Experience Required For This Senior Electronics Engineer Job

You will be able to embrace a curious, creative mindset to explore new approaches and push technical boundaries. Always applying fundamental engineering or scientific principles to produce robust product designs.

You will be a of a Graduate or higher level in an Engineering or Scientific (i.e. physics) subject and have a good understanding of Electronics.
