Senior Electrical Estimator

Senior Electrical Estimator sought in Bristol. We are proud to be supporting a highly acclaimed & leading Building Services engineering client as they hire to add to their estimator team. Right now, our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to collaborate with their current Mechanical Estimator in an integrated M&E team. Seeking senior experience and a relevant degree, however we are open to discussions with those holding equivalent Electrical construction experience, authority, and qualifications.

Production of detailed tender bids and cost plans
Attending mid and post tender meetings
Post tender control
Interfacing with both existing and prospective new clients
Communication and interfacing with sub-contractor and supplier companies, using existing companies and generating new leads
Plus, all traditional duties expected of a Senior Electrical Estimator    What you’ll need to succeed as a Senior Electrical Estimator:

A determined and efficient person, both pro-active and approachable, able to lead by example and function as a team player, always promoting a friendly work environment
Thorough technical understanding of all aspects of electrical building services
Wide supplier and sub-contractor understanding, as well as associated electrical services
Issuing / updating tender documents via an electronic control system
Able to work to strict or flexible deadlines
Competent with all standard IT software and ideally experience with ‘Trimble Estimation’ software In return, we are offering an exciting prospect for the right individual to join an established team with this opportunity to take the lead as Senior Electrical Estimator.
