Renowned for their expertise across various construction sectors, including railway and underground schemes, education projects, commercial offices, and civic buildings, they are currently expanding their dynamic team.Qualifications and Experience:The ideal candidate for the position of Senior Electrical Engineer will hold a Masters or Honours Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. With a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, candidates should possess a diverse project background, including expertise in refurbishment, education, rail/transport, leisure, commercial office, and heritage sectors.Skills and Responsibilities:The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to prepare calculations using Hevacomp, Dialux (or similar), and independently produce electrical designs. Proficiency in conducting surveys, preparing reports/specifications, and experience in a client-facing role is crucial. Effective communication with in-house and external team members, strong time-management skills for handling multiple concurrent projects, and the capability to supervise and mentor junior staff and CAD teams are essential.Job Tasks:Undertake surveys and condition reports.Prepare feasibility studies and cost plans.Develop detailed electrical designs and tender documents.Attend design, client, and site meetings.Supervise and mentor junior staff and CAD team members.Act as Contract Administrator on mechanical lead projects.Collaborate as part of a team in multidisciplinary projects.Career Advancement and Benefits:Competitive remuneration packages, contingent on qualifications, skills, and experience, are offered.
