Senior E,C&I Engineer

Our client are seeking a range of E,C&I engineers for ongoing, long term contract positions in the North West. Engineers will be engaged on Nuclear Decommissioning projects.

• Note - For all E,C&I Engineer roles candidates do NOT require prior nuclear industry experience.
• Hybrid working - 3 days on site, 2 days from home.
• Please note - Contract roles are long term and therefore INSIDE IR35.
• BPSS Security Clearance will be required and will be arranged following successful interview.

Senior EC&I Engineer

Knowledge/experience of the following -

• Production / checking of instrument datasheets
• Production / checking of lighting modelling
• Production / checking of cable calculations (preferably using AMTECH)
• Produce / checking of Control System Documentation
• Produce / checking of EHSR checklist
• Produce / checking of V&V schedules / plans
• Production of 13849 Safety calculations
• Partake in Risk Assessments
• Knowledge of 61508 (electrical safety mechs)
• Production / checking of Specifications
• Production / checking of commissioning documents / test plans
• Checking of all drawings and documents by the designer
• EMC Considerations - cable segregation, faraday principle etc,
• Leadership experience (up to 3-4 people)
• Engage with other disciplines
• Electrical Power Distribution Design
• Control System Design
• Instrument Design
• Low Voltage Directive
• Compile technical file
