This is a cutting-edge workshop dedicated to crafting stunning scenery for live events, TV, Exhibition and theatre productions. From grand stages to intimate sets, our work sets the scene for unforgettable experiences.
As Senior Draftsperson, you will be the architect behind the most ambitious projects. Your expertise in drafting and design will drive the creation of detailed plans and technical drawings, working with a talented team from concept to completion. Reporting into the head of production, and Liaising directly with the workshop team, you'll ensure that every detail is meticulously planned and executed to perfection.
Must haves:
- Extensive experience in drafting and design, with a strong scenic construction portfolio showcasing your talent and expertise.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software for 3D and 2D design
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing the boundaries of creativity, while remaining technically feasible.
- Solid problem solving ability, making amendments to designs when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, both internally and externally.
- Able to take ownership of projects and work independently to ensure quality output
- Supporting junior team members with their learning and progression
- A track record of success in delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Nice to have:
- 3/5 Axis CNC Machining experience
