Senior Operations Director/ Senior Director of Operations
Location: UK, Southern Region- Southwest Water service region and requires travel to various projects and clients across the Southwest Water Framework.

We seek a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our client’s water treatment business. The Senior Operations Director will be responsible for the overall management of the major water treatment framework in the Southwest, supporting and directing the business performance improvement to allow for successful and effective operational service and efficiency.
Prior knowledge of the water and wastewater treatment industry is desirable.
Experience of delivering major projects is advantageous. Our research includes professionals from other sectors such as rail, highways, energy, gas etc.
Provide the leadership and strategic direction to the project and the delivery teams throughout the entire project lifecycle in line with the innovative ethos, methods of working and best practice.
Support and promoting a collaborative approach to teamwork within a large, multi-disciplinary, multi stakeholder, culturally diverse project teams, offering comprehensive and strategic support and guidance for all aspects of the framework.
Contributing at leadership level, liaising, and providing support and expertise to aligned business streams.
Lead on all contract preparation responsibilities and maintain communication with clients throughout the process.
Provide strategic advice to the partnership board so that they will have accurate view of the challenges to address.
Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans and supervise successful project delivery to facilitate achievement of the partnership outcomes.
Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are always followed.
Oversee the company’s financial performance.
Contributing with fresh ideas on strategy, business planning, and service delivery that will challenge normal practice.
Provide leadership and direction to both internal staff and any external consultants who are involved in technical support activities.
Ensure the delivery of high performance in health and safety, environment, and quality, promoting continuous improvement and adherence to the companies’ responsibility to maintain safe and sustainable delivery.
