Senior Digitalisation Engineer Location: Warrington Our client, who are a leading engineering and maintenance provider based in Warrington, are looking for a Senior Digitalisation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Main ResponsibilitiesDrive and support the strategic development of individual sites and functions within the business through the implementation of digital innovationsCollaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive digitalisation strategy aligned with defined business objectivesManage the delivery of digital projects across all company business units, ensuring timely and successful executionDevelop and own digital value propositions that align with business objectives and enhance overall operational efficiencySupport with the development and implementation of a business-wide digitalisation strategy to drive digital transformationIdentify opportunities for digital innovation and recommend technologies to enhance operational performanceWork closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and effectively communicate the value propositions of digital innovationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally to ensure successful implementation of digital projectsWork across the business to implement more standardisation of solutionsServe as a local point of contact for digitalisation support, consulting with the global company digital communityEnthusiastically present and demonstrate digital solutions to internal stakeholders and customers, showcasing their benefitsProvide training and support to internal teams relating to new digital tools and technologiesOrganise and execute digitally focused training sessions, actively promoting a change mind-set towards digital approachesExperience & QualificationsExperience in engineering, operational focused positions or industrial automation and control, and a strong understanding of digital technologiesExperience in the development and execution of Digital Transformation StrategyExperience in the execution of Change Management processes and the ability to articulate why this is important to organisational changeDemonstrate passion for digital solutions and a clear understanding of the benefits they can bring to business operationsFlexible approach to solutions and highly adaptable to change, with the ability to navigate evolving digital landscapesPossess intercultural competency to collaborate effectively in a diverse work environmentCommitment and willingness to carry out business trips as needed for project requirementsExcellent skills in leadership & presentation, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisationDesired Experience:Experience of some or all of the following is desirable:5+ years' experience in engineering, operations and digital technologiesProven experience in a similar role within the industrial sectorDemonstrable understanding and experience of lean management principles for process optimisationMobile Applications (Low Code Platforms)MS SQL Database (On-Prem / Cloud-Based)Dashboard Reporting Technology (e.g. PowerBI)Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for operational technology applications.A Degree or HND/HNC in degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldCertification in Project Management (Prince2, APM)Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
