Deliver engaging and innovative content across the website to members and prospects to improve the digital customer experience for our members and visitors and support business goals and objectives through effective content marketing and lead generation.
Assist the Digital Manager in governing the content platforms, including the CMS and Content Planner Tool, and implementing the Club’s content strategy across all website channels.
Use in-depth knowledge gained through research, analysis and tools such as Google Analytics and Content Square to support decisions about website content, CRO and influence the overall website content strategy.
Work closely with the SEO agency and the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver best practice copy, technical and on-page optimisation with a key focus on increasing Organic traffic.
Work closely with third party agencies such as YEXT to ensure our digital presence is fully optimised and always up to date, and tools/assets are used to their maximum potential.
Liaise with Product Owners and Marketing Managers to ensure that content about products and services is relevant, accurate and effectively promotes benefits to support the Club in meeting its objectives.
Oversee and maintain website content to ensure it is up-to-date, factually accurate and in line with the content plan, campaigns, digital best practices, brand and editorial guidelines and the Club’s SEO strategy. Ensure content is sufficiently merchandised and optimised for lead generation.
Be an ambassador for web content marketing and pro-actively lead content to the wider business. Support the planning and execution and delivery of the content plan.
Plan, research, create, proof-read, publish and measure performance of content. Producing high-quality, compelling content that embraces the Club’s target markets and supports business goals.
Be responsible for the timely delivery of website content end-to-end. From planning through to publication.
Own, update and maintain the content team’s work schedule and share with the Digital Marketing manager the weekly workload, including project time frames and delivery dates.
Provide and use qualitative and quantitative data to drive engagement and web conversions.
Working with the Digital team, be responsible for testing of website development release (NB these may be out of normal working hours).
The role of Senior Digital Content Executive may have access to Restricted and Confidential member, worker, volunteer and/or Club business data. This information must only be collected and processed in line with all regulations from the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), the Data Protection Act and all Caravan Club policies and procedures. All types of data held by The Club is valuable and must be protected. Essential Skills & Experience Required: Educated to degree level in Marketing or English, or similar area of study or previous work experience in a related field.
Must have copywriting experience.
Must have a positive, can do attitude and the ability to deliver to tight time frames.
Must have excellent time management skills.
Ability to lead the rest of the digital content team and ensure all deadlines are met throughout the team.
Experience within the digital publishing environment and of creating, editing and publishing content would be advantageous.
Experience in InDesign and Photoshop would be advantageous.
Must be able to participate and contribute as a team player, while also able to work on own initiative.
Confidently communicate across departments and teams, and work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to ensure all deadlines are met.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong creative flair and a head full of ideas.
Confident working in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about content marketing and digital best practices, trends and developments.
Experience with EPiServer and other CMS platforms would be advantageous.
Basic HTML experience would be advantageous.
Understanding of Google Analytics would be advantageous.
