Individual ownership of the project and project outcomes, key stakeholder relationships, and both direct, and indirect and line management. May take overall Lead for a project/programme, or working for an Associate Director level Digital Consultant, depending on the scale or complexity of the project/programme.You'll be responsible for:Defines and delivers digital strategies and solutions for client-facing projects and programmes.Project manages teams of delivery consultants, suppliers and other technical people.Line management and coaching for the digital team working on the project, as direct and indirect reports.Coordinates budget, procurement, and cost tracking for digital elements.Contributes to global digital centre of excellence including body of knowledge, processes, case studies.Contributes to bids in terms of digital strategies and solutions.Provides mentoring/training to members of the team.Shares technical/functional/domain expertise to upskill capabilities.Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.You'll need to have:Project Management.Stakeholder Management.Technical problem solving.IT/Digital project delivery experience.IT/Digital industry awareness including standard IT methodologies including waterfall, agile.IT operating model awareness such as how IT departments work, outsourcing, and key IT roles and responsibilities.Strong written and oral communication,Effective negotiator.Stakeholder management at all levels.Ability to focus on what is essential rather than what is optimal for expedient delivery.Building effective and high performing teams.Effective delegation and task assignment.Organised and ability to organise others, seek clarity, set and manage boundaries.You'll also have:Technical/IT/Digital qualifications and certifications (or equivalent) such as in Microsoft or ISO27001, ITIL, APM/Prince project management.BIM/ISO19650 awareness.Construction, property, and real estate industry.Public sector awareness - such as public sector procurement. Security, cyber security, data protection awareness.Experience of working in an international setting either remotely from or outside the UK.University degree (or equivalent)Technical/IT/Digital qualifications and certifications (or equivalent) such as in Microsoft or ISO27001, ITIL, APM/Prince project management.BIM/ISO19650 awareness.Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
