We are currently working in a hybrid fashion with the ability to work from home, however for a minimum of three days a week, you will be required at our Head Offices in either Milton Keynes or Basingstoke.

The Senior DevOps Engineer works closely with developers and other IT teams to oversee application infrastructure, environment builds, code releases and support the platforms on which software products are built. Automation and orchestration of infrastructure as code and software deployment pipelines are a key component to this role.
The Senior DevOps Engineer supports the public & private cloud infrastructure used to deliver public cloud hosted managed services to customers. You will have a high customer focus being actively involved in the support and development of the service including: the resolution of support cases, live service monitoring and maintenance, new service provision, building and running CICD pipelines, and continuous improvement projects. You will provide high quality operational and technical support to customers and will be responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
You must have excellent technical knowledge across Microsoft public Cloud Services (Azure and Microsoft 365). You should have a good knowledge of security practices and the flexibility to work out of hours will be required.
What you will be doing:
•Enjoy working within a collaborative team of varied disciplines, skills and experience
•Contribute to the planning of application / infrastructure releases and configuration changes
•Interact with key internal stakeholders and external third party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
•Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure using an infrastructure as code approach.
•Understanding the needs of stakeholders and implementing this into the DevOps process.
•Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
•Building, testing and deploying automated Infrastructure As Code Pipelines
•Deploying new software releases via CICD pipelines.
•Administering and maintaining all production and development environments
•Create detailed technical and procedural documentation (e.g. architecture, configuration and setup)
•Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators,
•particularly in terms of in-depth trend analysis
•Ongoing self-led training and development – Learn about the latest public Cloud products and services and increase your knowledge.

At least 4 years operational experience supporting Microsoft public cloud technologies and services at an enterprise level (multi-tenant) with in-depth knowledge of the following:
