Role Overview:

Role Scope:
Full-Time Hours:
Embrace a full-time role with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
Fixed Term Position:
Join our team on a 12-week fixed term basis.
Work Schedule:
Primarily remote, with the occasional need to attend training or update sessions in Leeds, typically once or twice a month.

Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
Lead the design strategy and vision for digital healthcare products and services ensuring alignment with organisational goals and user needs.
Communication:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers and developers to ensure design alignments and successful project outcomes. Communicate design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Service Improvement : Identify areas for improvement within an existing service and translate these findings into intuitive and accessible design solutions.
User-Centred Designs : Develop engaging and user-friendly interfaces with a focus on accessibility and usability. Ensure the process for making design decisions is based on design knowledge, user research and knowing the user journey.
Quality Assurance:
You will conduct usability testing and gather feedback to optimise user experiences. Ensuring design consistency and quality while adhering to design standards and best practices .
Knowledge and Skills:
Educational Achievement:
Educated to Master’s level or equivalent experience within a professional working environment.
Specialist Knowledge : Proven experience of applying design knowledge (graphic design, interactive design, or service design) and applying that to applications.
Practical Application:
Demonstrable knowledge and passion for user centred design practices for both public facing and internal services and applications.
Communication : Be able to communicate complex information to a range of audiences in a simplistic form.
