Senior Designer - Ladies Woven

If you are an experienced ladies woven Designer with a truly commercial eye for fashion and a background working with suppliers and or in retail then this role could offer you great career opportunity working with some of the biggest retailers in the UK.My client is looking for and experienced, commercial fashion designer with a young to mid-market handwriting style who is used to working in a fast-paced environment and can work under pressure.Main Responsibilities Will Include:Create seasonal mood & trend boards with the design teamDesign seasonal capsule collections along with key shapes, colour palettes, and fabric directionResearch and source new design ideas & fabrics/trims day to dayDesign and develop commercial and fashion-forward products for range and clientsAttend fabric fairs and inspirational shopping tripsAttend regular design meetings with the Sales Manager and customer buying/design teams whom you will be liaising regularly with.Person Specification:Strong supplier background required for this roleWoven / Soft separates backgroundStrong Cad skills neededPreferable experience designing young to mid-marketAble to work under PressureWorks well in a teamCommercially savvy with excellent on-trend knowledgeConfident when attending customer meetingsFully computer literate in Photo shop and IllustratorStrong CAD and Tech pack skills
