Senior Design Manager

This is a great opportunity to join an established contractor who have a healthy pipeline of prestigious projects and specialise in the commercial, healthcare, education, residential, sports & leisure sectors working on projects valued in excess of �100m.
The role - Senior Design Manager
As a Senior Design Manager, you will be working closely with the project team to deliver a large high rise residential development in Manchester and will be reporting into the Project Lead to manage and coordinate the design elements for the project.
Key duties & Responsibilities:

• Have input into the selection of the design team.
• Agree the design team's responsibilities and scope of services
• Agree tender and construction programme with the design team
• Input into the Employers Requirement/Contractor Proposal Compatibility
• Ensure the design recognises all aspects of health & safety, environmental and quality related matters.
• Input into the selection of design sub - contractors.
• Mange design consultants and sub consultants along with design subcontractors to ensure correct and timely delivery of all design related information for the execution of the works on site.
• Manage design co-ordinators and design managers and act as mentor to them for the projects they are involved with.
• Undertake design audits on projects as and when required and report back to the director in charge.
