They are looking to grow their design team further. An opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer to support on contracts for National Gird and full range of the DNO's across the UK.

Responsibilities of the Senior Design Engineer:
Manage day to day overhead line design activities and to produce effective high quality design solutions
Develop design processes, policy and training material
Perform the role of Contractor Design Assurance Engineer (CDAE) on National Grid projects
Liaise regularly with other engineers and technicians to maximise productivity
Provide day to day technical advice and oversight of Design Engineers
Liaise closely with the Design Delivery Manager, other Senior Design Engineers and internal/external customers ensuring project, programme and budgetary controls at all times
Criteria for the Senior Design Engineer:
Expert user of PLS CADD and PLS TOWER
B.Eng or BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering, with honours, or HND plus relevant design experience in Transmission & Distribution sector
Holds or actively working towards professional chartered status
