Fourblue is working with a leading ICP and EV (electric vehicle) charge point installer. Offering a comprehensive service from planning through to installation and supporting businesses with their net-zero obligations. Carrying out works across the UK they are leading the way on EV infrastructure projects.
Due to growth and winning a huge amount of work contributing to their healthy order book for 2025 and beyond, an opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer has arisen to join their successful team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Design Engineer:
Implement the strategy, policies, processes, procedures and risk management for company-wide deployment within the technical team
Lead Design Engineers and Graduate Engineers within the technical team and be accountable for scheme design, consultancy/feasibility studies, technical standards, regulatory affairs and associated legal processes
Develop and maintain the best relationships with clients, asset owners, partners and designers
Assist with Business Development to secure new and repeat business via new and existing client relationships
Ensure that works are designed to minimise risks during the construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning/demolition phases
Ensure that all designs meet regulatory, statutory, client and industry requirements
Criteria for the Senior Design Engineer:
Electrical Power Engineering Qualification is essential or;
Relevant experience in the UK market within the last 5 years with a DNO, IDNO or ICP is essential
Full UK Driving Licence
