The Role
The Design engineer will be a integral member of the existing team and will be supporting key projects for the business. Key duties will include;
Develop key products in-line with the companies product roadmap.
Capture and interpret product requirements and design challenges
Create innovative designs for new products
Support build of early prototypes in-house and test and iterate
Identify limitations of existing products and enhance
Task and manage precision engineering companies
Transition R&D products into manufacturing
The Person
The ideal Design Engineer will be career driven and highly motivated. Key criteria required for the role will be:
3 years+ Design Engineering experience
Experienced within engineering or manufacturing environments
Have a positive can do attitude
Be capable of working from engineering brief as well as arrangement models
Capable of presenting engineering solutions to the wider team
Degree in relevant mechanical engineering field would be
