Senior Design Engineer

A top tier client in the nuclear and defence space is looking to bring on a senior EC+I Design engineer to work on some of the most exciting projects in the sector. This is a fantastic long term contract for a design focused EC+I engineer.
Job Role - Senior Design Engineer EC&ILocation - Reading 100%Contract Length - 18 monthsPay Rates - £58.77 hour Umbrella
If you are a senior design engineer who has a specific EC+I background and has spent a vast period of time in the nuclear space or defence sector then this role could be perfect for you.Requirements:
Have a vast background in EC&I design and some time spent in a senior role capacityKnowledge of updating Schedules, P&IDs and SchematicsThe ability to update assembly drawings, converting Red lines to black lines and creating relevant change documentation (DCN; Design Change Notes) for record and auditable trail, consequently updating Certificate of Designs to capture' as built' and to take us into the next phase of commissioning.An experience working with low level to high level enclosuresSome time spent working with lasersThe knowledge and technical ability to manage any queries that may ariseAn understanding between senior and standard engineeringA complete understanding of regulation and standards
Minimum Qualifications:
A relevant degree/HND/HNC in the engineering fieldTime spent working as a design engineer with an EC+I BackgroundExperience in highly regulated fields (NUCLEAR/DEFENCE)
