I am currently recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in Oxfordshire. Salary up too £55,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are leaders within their field and are developing innovative technology that is disrupting the industry that they operate within. They employ over 300 people and operate in over 40 major cities across the globe.
To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Senior Design Engineer, you will share your time between NPI and Legacy products but the initial focus for you will be to manage new products from concept to manufacture. This will include a hands-on approach to the prototype testing and development phase. It is crucial for you to be able to communicate at all levels across the team to encourage product development. The manufacturing processes you will you be working with would range from Sheet Metal Fabrications, Press Tooling, Injection Moulding as well as casting designs.
Essential Requirements:
At least 5 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
Experience with at least one industry standard 3d CAD package.
Experience within an Electrical Manufacturing Business.
