Senior Design Engineer | £35k-£45k DOE | Chelmsford | PermanentWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer to work on production equipment used for the manufacture of RF products, from standard to bespoke solutions.Our client is known for being at the forefront of technology and they're a top player in creating cutting-edge products for space/satellite industries and healthcare.This role requires someone to be experienced withelectrical / electronic designandPLC programming.Role/Responsibilities:Producing technical electrical & mechatronic drawings for new & legacy equipmentProgramming of PLCs, HMIs, controllers and LabVIEW softwareWorking with a high attention to detail and accuracyOrganisation and prioritisation of own workloadProviding progress updatesWorking methodically and producing work of a high qualityExperience/Skills:Engineering qualifications such as HNC, Degree or similarElectrical / electronic design experienceAbility to work from detailed technical drawings and manualsExperience of PLC programming and other controllersKnowledge of general engineering best practicesDesirable:Knowledge of other engineering areas: mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.Use of Autodesk PDMC; AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor 3D and othersExperience of Mitsubishi PLCs and software: GX Works, DeveloperPackage:Salary: Up to £45k DOEVariable Pay options include Employee bonuses, Sales Incentive Plans and Recognition SchemesDiscount schemesExcellent career mobility with national and international opportunitiesLife Assurance, Occupational Health Provisions, and Medical BenefitsEmployee assistance and wellbeing supportThis Senior Design Engineer position is being handled by Langham Recruitment Ltd.
