Senior Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity at a well-established automotive company are looking for a design engineer to join their team. Based in Leicestershire, this company is a leading automotive manufacturer.

As Senior Design Engineer will you be responsible for:

• The design and development of a number of automotive components such as powertrain and chassis systems.
• Contributing to project plans to ensure future deliverables are met.
• Using 3D CAD to create model, technical drawings and manufacturing drawings and surface modelling.
• Time management to ensure all project and KPIs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality.

The successful Design Engineer will have:

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
• Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product or Innovation Engineering.
• Experience in the design and development of automotive components.
• 3D CAD, ideally with surface modelling experience.
• A strong passion for personal development and automotive engineering.
