Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to work for an agricultural machinery manufacturer in Lincolnshire.

The senior design engineer role will be in the new product development team. This exciting opportunity will be leading design projects from initial scope/concept through to first stages of production. Ability to cope with time pressures and manage time well is essential. We are a fast paced disruptive business creating innovative high tech products for the agricultural industry. We require the candidate to have sound knowledge of 3D CAD, ideally Solidworks, Static load calcs, FEA, DFMA, GD&T and at least 5 years experience in product design/development. Sheet metal/Fabrication/Steel manufacturing experience would be highly favoured as well as some hydraulics and electronics knowledge. Management experience is preferred, mentoring and guiding junior engineers in our team.As we are a small but rapidly growing company there maybe time in the factory on new product fitup/testing or overcoming manufacturing issues.
