Senior Design Engineer (Airframe/ Electrical)

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Samlesbury

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours (hybrid working available)

• Develop and design aerospace components and systems in accordance with project requirements
• Conduct detailed analysis and testing to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into overall aircraft systems
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the design and development process
• Participate in design reviews and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance design processes

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in aerospace design and development
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and other design tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace design and development

• Proficiency in CAD software CATIA
• Understanding of aerospace regulations and standards
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence

• Office-based role at the Samlesbury site (hybrid)
• Collaboration with diverse teams within the aerospace industry
• Potential travel for project meetings and client visits
