Senior Delivery Manager (Technical)required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 12-month contract, paying £695 a day, inside IR35, Hybrid working (National base office).This role is SC Cleared: Candidates who hold an active SC Clearance are encouraged to apply. Main Responsibilities: As a senior delivery manager, you'll be able to deliver complex, high-risk technology projects and services, such as devices, applications, infrastructure, and Microsoft 365.You will have strong communication skills and engage with senior stakeholders.You'll have experience across a range of products and services, throughout the entire lifecycle, and have greater responsibility and accountability as the main point of escalation.You'll be experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams, supporting, and continuously improving products of significant scale and complexity.You'll be responsible for building, maintaining and motivating teams; protect the team and make sure the team collaborates to focus on what is most important.You'll coach team members and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement in the team. You will proactively manage dependencies and risks to overcome obstacles to delivery. Essential Skills / Desirable Skills: Agile and Lean practices: You have deep knowledge of, and lead on, a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of the team, represent and be an advocate for these tools and techniques, be innovative and ensure you keep up to date with the latest trends.Planning: You can use a continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics and measurements, contingency planning, and road mapping.Financial management: You can report on financial delivery and can monitor cost and budget.Leadership: You promote diversity, inclusion and equality of opportunity, respecting difference, and external experience.Changing and improving: You will create an environment where people feel safe to challenge and know their voice will be heard.Delivering at pace: You ensure everyone clearly understands and owns their roles, responsibilities, and priorities, making sure that delivery of timely quality outcomes is achieved.Communicating and Influencing: You are able to communicate effectively across organisational, technical, and political boundaries, understanding the context.Developing Self and Others: You have experience in ensuring the health of the team and can facilitate conflict resolution, accelerating team performance, the team is transparent and that the work is understood externally, creating an open and collaborative environment to work in, recognise how people best work together, facilitating the best team makeup depending on the situation.Please apply should you meet the above criteria.Kindly note, that due to a high volume of applications - only successful candidates will be contacted.
