Senior Delivery Manager
Location: London/Hybrid Working
Rate: �549 per day (umbrella)
A central London Local Authority is seeking a dynamic Senior Delivery Manager to lead the Digital and Innovation aspects of the Housing transformation digital programme. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive transformative change and ensure regulatory readiness in areas such as data,
architecture, IoT, resident experience, and technology provision.
As the Senior Delivery Manager, you will spearhead the delivery of the digital programme, overseeing governance, reporting, resourcing, and team management. You will lead the charge in establishing a culture of excellence and innovation, while ensuring a robust research, service design, and data analysis pipeline.�
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery and governance of the Housing transformation digital programme.
  • Lead resourcing, team management, and cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Ensure regulatory readiness and compliance across all digital and innovation initiatives.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and alignment.
  • Drive change management initiatives to streamline internal processes and enhance organisational agility.
  • Utilise agile methodologies to effectively manage complex, cross-functional programmes.
  • Collaborate closely with Housing services and other relevant stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to the Head of Delivery and Product.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in delivery management and programme management at a senior level.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in agile ways of working, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working within local government, Housing Associations, or similar organisations.
  • Familiarity with housing regulations and inspection standards is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working with housing regulations/inspection standards would be an advantage but not essential.
