Dashly is looking for an independent Senior Data Scientist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. To do that, we’ve built a powerful mortgage search engine, data platform, together with web and mobile apps. Now it’s time for us to upgrade our platform to scale in line with our growth rate, and utilise our gained experience to design new data solutions that will help lenders to offer new, more efficient ways to design and distribute products. On top of that, we’re building tools that let advisors truly manage their customer relationships and empower them to improve the service they can offer their clients.Who are we looking for?As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll design, build, and implement solutions to analyse data to then solve and address problems, supporting the business and our customers. You will be putting models into place to enhance customer's experience by predicting future trends, support decision making, and drive customer and business benefits.We are doing more with our Data, and this exciting opportunity will help develop, shape, and evolve our business to continue our drive to offer additional tools and insights to our customers across all our products and services.You will help lead and grow the department's profile as well as the talented individuals within them and you'll run high-profile projects to answer complex strategic questions using data.This is a hands-on position, and we are looking for a highly energetic, team player, driven and goal-oriented individual who is comfortable taking the initiative and working autonomously. Excellent communication skills are essential along with the ability to challenge, debate ideas and manage a team.ResponsibilitiesLead, grow and develop a team of data analysts and scientists where you'll guide them in uncovering valuable insights from data and developing impactful solutions for our business and customers.Actively mentor and people manage a team of data scientists.Work with internal stakeholders to deliver data insights dashboards for both internal consumption and to satisfy client requirements.On-going monitoring of data quality levels on the platform & data processing SLAs.Identity opportunities within Dashly's datasets to drive future business decisions.Developing and implementing advanced machine learning models to address complex business problems.Effectively communicating analytical insights and findings to stakeholders across the organisation.Contributing to long-term architectural resolutions and fostering a data-driven culture within the organisation.Lead on the on-going development and growth of Dashly's data warehouse and BI solution.Knowledge and experienceBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.4+ years of relevant experience in data modelling, analytics, and machine learning.Proficiency in Python, SQL, R (or similar) for data analysis and manipulation.Experience with data virtualisation and BI tools. Dashly's platform utilises Google Cloud Platform including Big Query and Looker Pro/ Looker Studio for data warehousing and reporting.Anything else I should know?Our business and product teams are located in the UK (GMT time zone), our creative, marketing and engineering teams are located in Central Europe (CET timezone, GMT+1).
