Our rapidly growing company is looking for highly talented and motivated people to join us.THE OPPORTUNITYWe are looking for a talented and seasoned Senior Data Engineer to spearhead our data engineering efforts within our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in data engineering, specifically in managing IoT data, orchestrating real-time data processing, and collaborating closely with data scientists and analysts. Additionally, expertise in overseeing electric vehicle charging networks is highly desirable. This pivotal role demands a strategic mindset, deep technical expertise, and outstanding leadership skills to architect and implement resilient data solutions that align with our organization's data-driven goals. While this position involves strategic planning and architecture, it also requires hands-on involvement and a proactive approach.A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY

Advanced Data Engineering: Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale data systems and pipelines.
Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modelling, schema design, and data governance.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar, with a focus on data manipulation, ETL processes, and data analysis.
Big Data Technologies: In-depth knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or similar for data processing and analytics.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging services for scalable and reliable data solutions.
Database Technologies: Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for creating actionable insights. Leadership and Management skills
Project Management: Proven track record of leading and delivering complex technical projects within scope, on time, and within budget.
Team Leadership: Ability to mentor, coach, and lead technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Strategic Thinking: Visionary approach to setting and executing multi-year technical and data strategies aligned with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Change Management: Experience driving organizational change, influencing roadmaps, and aligning priorities across multiple teams.
Educational Background and Certifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree: In Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Data Engineering Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Google Professional Data Engineer, or similar.
Project Management Certifications: Optional but beneficial certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2. Personal Attributes
