Senior Customs Specialist £30,000 - £35,000Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading Logistics business in Hull who are looking for a Customs Specialist to join their expanding team.Duties to includeImport/Export Sales order processing (order information and Customs entries)Coordinating planned activities with Logistics, Plants and Warehouses, Transportation Partners (Freight Forwarders, Brokers, Carriers, and NVOCC, Air Lines and GSA) Third Party Vendors and CreditMonitoring and managing end to end Import/Export order fulfilmentAssure on-going regulatory compliance for the order and ensure accuracy of import/export documents and charges;Understanding of the customer, market, and import/export requirements:Collaboration with supply chain partners and third-party transportation partners to determine most effective way to deliver/fulfil the order for the customer;Performing due diligence activities associated with screening process of Third Parties with the ability to check at transactional level;Determining import/export controls EUR1, GSP, ATR, COO, End Use, IPR, OPR, Import/Export Licences applicable to the order and coordinate with the trade compliance team as needed;Successful candidates will have the followingTwo or more years of experience in handling all aspects of Import/Export/Customs experience in freight forwarding environmentFluency in English written and spoken.Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in import and export.Experience in developing work procedures and written instructions.Experience in logistics and/or CustomsAbility to read and interpret government regulationsApply now!
