As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will become a vital contributor to a leading UK business within the B2B asset financing and leasing market. Join a refreshed team, dynamically inclined within an energetic and proactive credit risk function.
Role responsibilities;
Building, testing, and maintaining the acquisition credit scorecard, with the aim to improve the decisioning process and automated credit decisioning process.
Review scoring in line with current and anticipated economic conditions to minimise making changes when appropriate to mitigate external conditions.
Reporting and presentation of credit risk metrics to senior management at monthly credit committee and sub-committee meetings.
Build and develop PD, LGD, delinquency models and roll rate models, which ultimately feeds into insight reporting.
Support the credit risk roadmap and framework as well as act as an ambassador for Credit Risk.
Working on key initiatives and projects with Experian and other external bureau and data providers.
As a fundamental member of the wider Analytics, Credit and Data Team, you will bring data to life and articulate insight definitions, key trends, and strategy requirements in relation to the credit portfolio.
You will look to also implement new to business technologies such as ML/AI within the credit risk sphere. Where this be scorecards, AML, portfolio monitoring, Flexible Credit Risk Decisioning, etc.
Key skills required;
Asset Finance and/or Financial Services – Retail or business banking.
The ability to code with high confidence within SQL, SAS and Python (as a bonus)
Develop and implement smart frameworks to make real-time decisions
Proven track record of building a wide range of statistical models, MI dashboards & scorecard development.
An ability to interrogate and manipulate large volumes of data to create insights.
An ability to take high level requests and transform them into specific deliverables or pieces of analysis.
Experience of working in a high-volume Commercial Credit Risk environment.
