Senior Creative Retoucher

As a Senior Creative Retoucher at Marks, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality and consistency of our digital assets. Alongside your responsibilities for creating, retouching and enhancing images, you will oversee a small team of retouchers – developing their skills and talents. You’ll collaborate with CGI artists, photographers, art directors, producers and our wider creative teams in the UK and overseas, and have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, contributing your expertise to deliver exceptional visual content.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented senior retoucher to develop their technical and creative skills within the new Content Studio team here at Marks.

In this role you will:
Utilize advanced retouching techniques to enhance and perfect digital images, maintaining the intended style and aesthetic.
Work closely with CGI artists, producers, photographers, and art directors to understand project objectives and deliver retouched images that align with creative visions.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to other team members to elevate the quality of our collective creative output.
Manage and co-ordinate a team of 2-3 Retouchers, mentoring and developing their skills.
Conduct final quality checks to eliminate errors and ensure images are client ready.
Propose and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality. Skills and Abilities
Correct colour, exposure, and composition with precision and attention to detail.
Composite CG and photography into one image.
You will have
8+ years of experience as a Retoucher in a commercial photography or creative agency.
A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in image retouching and your understanding of brand building and design.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other relevant retouching software.
Advanced knowledge of color correction, image compositing, and non-destructive editing.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across a large volume of images.
Strong communication skills, experience mentoring and managing junior retouchers
