Committed to managing risk while maximizing value and performance during asset construction and operation, we actively encourage applications from all sectors of the community.Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to take on the role of Commission Manager, responsible for overseeing end-to-end service delivery, particularly for large or complex commissions. The ideal candidate will act as the key client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Conduct feasibility studies and draft procurement reports.Apply Value Management techniques, involving specialist teams where needed.Manage estimating and cost planning activities, taking ownership of the final cost plan.Oversee the procurement process, ensuring effective pre-qualification, analysis, and contract preparation.Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.Oversee cost checking and valuation work.Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client.Lead value engineering and life cycle costing efforts.Negotiate and finalize accounts.Play a lead role in interfacing with clients and other consultants.Potentially lead a cost management team, ensuring effective delivery of responsibilities.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Proven experience in a similar role, handling commissions of varying sizes.Strong project management and client-facing skills.Knowledge of Value Management techniques and cost planning activities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Experience in business development and bid construction is a plus.
