Role overview:
What you’ll do:
To be an example in conduct and behaviour to those you interact with. Foster relationships with colleagues and staff in line with GSK & EMCOR UK values. To represent EMCOR UK in a positive manner and comply with any company wide or site-based requirement.
To manage the workload of the team including assigning and scheduling tasks / checking on quality and quantity of work carried out.
Raising work orders for the team when required.
Assisting with business impact assessments (For plant shutdowns or equipment downtime)
To manage the controls team and assist with their daily activities.
Co-ordinate any technical queries from the relevant site teams.
Carry out reactive work and maintenance PPMs to the EMCOR BMS system.
Provide technical service and support on the BMS system for the maintenance team across the operation.
A key focus will be providing the team with metric data and assisting with them to achieve the numerous KPI’s and SLAs on the account.
Support all site teams with Technical and Operational issues.
Assist with the development of the BMS strategy as and when required.
Manage the critical and general alarms on site.
Generate alarm data twice a week and prepare information for a weekly update with GSK.
Control access to the EMCOR BMS System alongside the BMS team.
Assist with site minor works projects teams and capital projects if required.
Promote the FM team culture by team working with colleagues and subcontractors.
PLC / VSD commissioning and install for end-of-life replacement. Person Specification Who you’ll be:
City & Guilds 18th Edition 236 Part 1&2 or Mechanical equivalent where applicable.
BCIA Qualifications also preferable but not essential
Previous experience managing a team of engineers.
Proven experience in a technical role is required.
Knowledge of the BMS system is essential, preferable Metasys
Previous experience in an FM environment is essential, pharmaceutical is desirable
An understanding of current Health and Safety regulations and the ability to work unsupervised
The ability to work to prescribed service level agreements.
