Senior Controls & Automation Engineer

A highly-reputable Machinery & Lifting Equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Senior Controls & Automation Engineer. This company has been established for over 30 years and specialises in the design and retrofit of bespoke machinery and equipment used in a global market.
You will work closely within a tight-knit Upgrades & Automation team, generating new designs to retrofit on-to complex machinery. The role will consist of PLC & Control System design using Siemens TIA Portal, drive upgrades, site visits and commissioning work. There is also further training and development involved, as well as international travel for those interested.
Senior Controls & Automation Engineer Requirements :
HNC/D or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
Siemens TIA Portal (Essential)
Experience with Drives & Automation
Off-shore Sector Experience (Desirable)
Commissioning Experience
