A world leading manufacturer of safety equipment for military aircrafts are looking to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager who will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.

Key Accountabilities - Senior Contracts Manager

+ Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with customers and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and engineering teams, to develop contract strategies that align with business objectives.

+ Contract Administration: Oversee the administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle, from initial proposal to contract closeout.

+ Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, such as financial, legal, and operational risks. Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement controls to minimize exposure to contractual liabilities.

+ Customer and Supplier Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with customers and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to address concerns, resolve disputes, and foster a collaborative environment.

+ Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the contract process. Promote ethical conduct in contract negotiations and business dealings, upholding their reputation for integrity and professionalism.

Skills and knowledge required - Senior Contracts Manager

+ Degree or equivalent experience.

+ Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and administration, with a strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions.

+ Significant previous experience in a Commercial role working in the defence/military sector, this role may also suit individuals that have seasoned defence/military industry experience and wish to move into a Commercial team.
