Location: Aberdeen, with Hybrid Working OptionsRole Overview: As a Senior Contracts Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of the complete Category Management and Contracting Process (CMCP). Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing contract strategies, managing contract activities, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Additionally, you will lead contract negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement contract strategies and tactics in alignment with business objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers, acting as a trusted advisor.Lead contract negotiations and complex tender evaluations to achieve optimal outcomes.Prepare Category Plans, ITTs, and contract documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Manage a portfolio of contracts, including drafting Contract Management Plans with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Ensure implementation of Contractor HSES practices in collaboration with technical owners.Act as the primary liaison between Contracts & Procurement, Legal, Insurance, and other risk structure functions.Identify and propose innovative solutions that address business needs while considering market conditions and risks.Lead supplier relationships effectively, driving continuous performance improvement.Build and maintain a strong network in the market, staying informed about forthcoming opportunities and supplier developments.Experience:Proven track record of effective leadership and people management.Experience in developing Category Plans, ITTs, and contract documents within the procurement functionUnderstanding of technical aspects related to [insert industry] operations.Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.Appreciation of stakeholder relationship building and alignment with business needs.Seismic subsurface
