Our Client is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join an exciting, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment. As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will play an integral part in the successful management of Defence and Law Enforcement contract activities in accordance with company policies, legal obligations, and customer requirements. Primary duties and responsibilities will include execution of contract or purchase order processing, managing the importing of product and delivery in the UK, management and control of third-party inventory and maintaining product stock records, maintain required contractual records and documents, support field sales and provide data analysis reports in support of ongoing customer contracts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Management of UK Defence and Law Enforcement activities.
• Serve as point of contact with the customer.
• Responsible for contract and purchase order processing.
• Management and control of third-party inventory.
• Manage the import of controlled products into the UK and arrange transportation to sub-contractors and end-customers.
• Support field sales on a variety of tasks directly to the sales and/or development of business.
• Maintain current and accurate contract files including quotations, negotiation history, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Facilitate and participate in customer visits or events in the United Kingdom.
• Carry out physical inspection of products and record information as necessary.
• Monitor contracts in a timely fashion, ensuring that up to date data is readily available and supports the production of detailed contract management reports for a variety of sources.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines and requirements of the contract are met.
• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations.
• Support and provide contractual advice and counsel to company management at all levels as required.

Skills and Experience
• Ability to operate in a flexible, organised, consistent and committed manner, and able to pay attention to detail.
• Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and is self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and can work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office software particularly in word-processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Import & export sales/logistic control experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Experience of working in a defence manufacturing / factory-based environment would be an advantage.
Minimum Requirements
• Level 4/HNC/NVQ or equivalent qualification
• 5 years working experience in Sales & Marketing and/or Contract Administration.
Other Details
• Based at their headquarters office in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
• Salary £35,000 - £45,000 pa negotiable based on skills and experience.
• This is a permanent/full-time position.
• 5 weeks holiday per annum.
• The Company has a contributory pension scheme, open to employees after 3 months.
• Working hours – 36 hours per week Mon-Thurs 0730-#####, Fri##########30 (working from home)
