An exciting Senior Heritage Consultant/Associate Heritage Director Opportunity in Planning and Development Consultancy, based in the North of England.

We are seeking a Senior Heritage Consultant/Associate Heritage Director, for a candidate with three years’ experience or more (or six years for an Associate Heritage Director), who shares our passion for shaping the most exciting projects across the UK. We were named Consultancy Practice of the Year at the 2023 RESI Awards and are honoured to be one of the 'Best Places to Work in Property' by Property Week magazine.
Our client has three offices across the North of England (Newcastle, Manchester and Leeds) and you will be working with colleagues across all three offices.
While the majority of the northern heritage team are based in our Newcastle office, we are prepared to be flexible for the right candidate and as such they could be based in Manchester or Leeds.
In this position you will bring your knowledge and experience of historic buildings and sites to bear on all aspects of the historic environment including world heritage sites, listed buildings, scheduled ancient monuments, conservation areas, battlefields and historic landscapes. You will research and analyse buildings and sites to prepare statements of significance, assess the effects of developments on the historic environment, liaise with and advise clients, co-consultants and local planning authorities to assist in delivering positive change.
