Role: Senior Construction Delivery Manager Position: Contract Location: Hinkley Point C - BridgwaterDuration: 12 Months RollingDay Rate: £520 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // £690 p/d UmbrellaType: Full-timeJob Purpose / OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Construction Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team at Hinkley Point C (HPC). In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Construction Delivery Managers, overseeing day-to-day site supervision and direction of works to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the project.Contextual InformationHPC is one of the UK's major EPR nuclear plants, situated in West Somerset. As part of the HPC site construction team, you will contribute to delivering two major EPR nuclear plants, ensuring projects are consistently delivered safely, to high quality, and on time.Principal AccountabilitiesYour responsibilities will include:Providing support to Construction Delivery Managers and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of works packages.Driving works on-site, ensuring contractor performance aligns with the agreed programme.Reviewing construction daily site logs and escalating any issues.Proactively communicating and coordinating with site functions and other Senior Construction Delivery Managers.Undertaking safety and/or assurance inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Acting as lead reviewer for safety-related documents and fulfilling Duty Construction Manager role on a rota basis.DimensionsThe client will act as Principal Contractor for this Major Project.The role will be based at Hinkley Point C with potential travel to other company locations in the UK and Europe.Manage and coordinate delivery of service contract partners.EssentialKnowledge, Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in delivering projects with multiple stakeholders.Good understanding of CDM Regulations.Excellent organization and communication skills.Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Construction management.SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.DesirableExperience in a highly regulated environment.Membership of a professional body.Experience within the Nuclear environment or large Civil Engineering projects.Application InformationIf this sounds of interest, please APPLY NOW with your CV and a cover letter highlighting your suitability for this exciting role.Good Luck!This vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd acting as an employment business.Since 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands to SMEs and start-ups.
