A top tier city law firm is seeking a law graduate with a real interest in a long term career in compliance to join their risk and compliance team.
The Firm
The law firm is leading in IP, technology, media, entertainment and sport and has teams that do corporate, litigation, employment and commercial work as well.
The Role
The successful compliance analyst can look forward to a varied and interesting role, conducting in-depth research into the firms existing and potential new clients, and analysing if accepting them as a client would pose any risk to the firm.
You will be looking for potential conflicts of interest that would prohibit the firm from working on the matter, and also analysing if there is any risk of money-laundering, bribery or corruption. You will also be investigating if anyone is a Politically Exposed Person (PEP) or if they are on a Sanctions list.
The Requirements
You will have completed a law degree/GDL and have at least 6 months experience in a similar compliance role in a law firm.
Althought it would be ideal if you were at an international or city firm, they are very open to those at regional firms looking to get into the city as well.
