Based in the Whiteley office, the Compliance Analyst role will provide support to the Channel Islands and UK compliance teams, specialising in regulatory compliance of Fund Service Business, Trust Company Business and Depository services. The individual will conduct compliance monitoring activity and act as advisor to the business and clients on various regulatory matters.

My client is a specialist Financial Services firm. The role will be based in Whiteley and they also have offices throughout Europe and also one in the the US.

Description

  • Promote awareness of, and compliance with, the jurisdictional regulation, legislation, and codes of practice, in conjunction with policies and procedures
  • Undertake monitoring activity to support the Compliance Monitoring Programme ("CMP") to the standard required by the firm and the relevant regulatory authority, being completed within the planned time frame.
  • Draft reports on the outcome of the monitoring activity completed, including the documenting of findings/observations, and communicating to the relevant Client Facing Teams (CFT) In order to agree remediation activity in a timely manner.
  • Support relevant Compliance Officer in the preparation of accurate and timely Client board reporting / documentation, liaising with relevant CFT to obtain supporting information as required.
  • Act as a point of contact for the CFT's on various regulatory matters.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for information, including collation of MI/Data to support regulatory submissions, annual declarations, and licence/fee renewals.
  • Work with the Compliance team on ad-hoc projects as required
  • Remain fully up to date with legislation and guidance in Jersey

Profile

The right candidate will have been working in a compliance role within the financial services sector.
