Position Overview:
The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining competitive compensation programs that align with the organization's goals and strategies. The role requires significant experience in asset management, proficiency in managing annual reward cycles, and expertise in compensation benchmarking.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy and Planning
:
Develop and execute comprehensive compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees within the asset management sector.
Collaborate with senior management and HR to ensure compensation programs support business objectives and compliance with legal requirements.
Annual Reward Cycle Management
:
Lead the annual compensation review process, including salary reviews, bonus allocations, and long-term incentive plan administration.
Analyse market trends, economic conditions, and organizational needs to recommend adjustments to compensation structures.
Benchmarking and Market Analysis
:
Conduct regular compensation benchmarking studies to ensure the organization’s compensation packages are competitive within the asset management industry.
Utilize salary surveys and industry data to evaluate and compare the organization’s compensation structure with market trends.
Data Analysis and Reporting
:
Perform detailed compensation analyses, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of compensation data for regulatory compliance and internal auditing purposes.
Program Development and Implementation
:
Design and implement compensation programs, including base salary, variable pay, and equity plans, tailored to the unique needs of asset management professionals.
Ensure compensation programs are effectively communicated and understood by employees at all levels.
Advisory and Support
:
Provide expert guidance to HR partners and business leaders on compensation-related matters.
Serve as a resource for managers and employees regarding compensation policies, procedures, and practices.
Compliance and Risk Management
:
Ensure all compensation practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with compensation programs.
Qualifications:
Experience
: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compensation analysis, with a focus on the asset management industry.
Skills
:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in compensation management software and HRIS systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with global compensation programs.
Knowledge of Ltips and deferred compensation.
Familiarity with compensation regulations and compliance requirements.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position based in London.
Hybrid work environment with a mix of remote and in-office work.
