Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow.The roleThe Communications team at Checkout.com has a broad remit. It's responsible for Checkout.com’s press office, product launches, media relations, external perception, and managing wider external stakeholders: this includes briefing and engaging analysts (such as Forrester) and industry influencers.The team works closely with (and sits within) the broader brand and marketing team, working with agency partners and leadership to respond to inbound enquiries, draft press releases, and pitch stories.How you’ll make an impactSupport both our product and wider corporate affairs functions with the creation and distribution of key announcements.Cultivate relationships with key journalists, bloggers, and other influencers to drive positive coverage of the company and its sustained momentum.This role will also manage our analyst relations programme, updating and working with key analyst houses such as ForresterRespond to media inquiries, and prepare representatives for media interviews.To support with the coordination of agency partners to brief and prepare for upcoming announcements – ensuring we have local relevance across multiple marketsAbout you:Proven experience in PR & communications (5+ years), preferably with a background in FinTech/paymentsAbility to build strong relationships with media and Key Opinion FormersExcellent command of written English; a grammar guru who appreciates a well-crafted turn-of-phraseAbility to work quickly and produce results of a very high standardExcellent interpersonal skills; affable and resourceful, and can adapt communication styles to different audiences appropriatelyThe world of payments can be complex: someone who can express technical ideas in a coherent wayInterest in current affairs and the developments in the FinTech/payments industryApply without meeting all requirements statementIf you don't meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
