Senior Communications Executive - 12 Month FTC

About The Role This role is responsible for the development and execution of internal campaigns, developing content and planning events to engage our people, offering advice and guidance to colleagues at all levels of the business. It also has responsibility for the day-to-day running of some of our channels (intranet, Slack, show and tells, newsletter), gathering insight and feedback on engagement with messaging and channels and providing practical support and guidance to members of the team.
Youwill provide tactical internal communications to engage our teams in our strategy, values and priorities and ensure that messages are delivered to the right audiences in the most effective way.
You will manage our communities and lead the design, coordination, and delivery of TPXimpacts internal communications and support our employee engagement projects.
Working in close collaboration with the Head of Internal Communications and members of the People Leadership Team, you will be skilled at building relationships, managing multiple projects and offering best practice advice on internal communications.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver insight-driven plans and campaigns that drive employee engagement with the company's vision, mission and values.
Play a lead role in the development and delivery of internal communications plans relating to complex change programmes.
Write, edit and distribute engaging content through a variety of internal communications channels, including newsletters.
Responsible for gathering insight into the impact of our internal communications through analytics and insight gathered directly from employees (surveys, focus groups) with the goal of continuously improving our strategy to reach and engage employees.
Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of internal employee events, including in-person get togethers, Town Halls and Employee Resource Groups initiatives.
Lead on the development of our intranet and manage content, ensuring it is up-to-date, engaging and informative, researching and implement new ideas and functionality to enhance the user experience
Provide practical advice and guidance to other members of the internal communications team, offering informal opportunities to share your knowledge and experience.
Offer new and creative ideas on communication initiatives, channels and content which contribute to the achievement of our strategic objectives.
Help develop our culture of two-way internal communication and inclusion.
Provide advice and guidance to colleagues at all levels of the business, taking a collaborative approach to ensure the best outcomes.
Ensure messaging and materials are high quality, accurate and aligned to the company strategy, values and goals.
Responsible for the management of our day-to-day activity and communications planner.
Work to brief and oversee the work of contractors (ie. videographers) to develop content that fits our objectives, lands our key messages in the most impactful way and adheres to our tone of voice and brand guidelines.
Deputise for the Head of Internal Communications as necessary.
Business partner for our DT business unit and three of our ERGs.
Role model and uphold our PACT values.
About You
Essential Experience
Significant experience in a communications team, whether internal or external.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience of editing content (written, audio and visual).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A passionate storyteller, always looking for new and interesting ways to engage people.
Demonstrated ability to think analytically and creatively to develop solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Keen to experiment with different ways of using channels and sharing information, adapting materials to different channels or audiences.
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
A self-motivated team player who is comfortable building networks with a wide range of people in different offices and teams.
