Senior Commercial Portfolio & Customer Journey Analyst The Senior Commercial Portfolio & Customer Journey Analyst will be pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, settlement tasks, and data management for our electricity portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Energy Services this position is responsible for ensuring accurate settlement of energy invoices, service provider invoices, data capture, business and industry reporting and investigation data discrepancies in a timely manner. They will also be entrusted with enhancing the customer journey by revamping the invoice outlook and collaborating with the marketing team to ensure the communication and design of our documentation aligns with our brand and enhances customer experience. What you ll be doing Billing & Settlements Accurately and promptly execute invoicing and settlement tasks for the company's electricity portfolio. Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate outstanding netting and invoicing discrepancies with relevant third parties. Third Party Intermediaries Accurately and promptly execute invoicing and settlement tasks for the Third Party Intermediaries engaged by Conrad Energy including ad-hoc data requests and reconciliation of payments. ROCs and REGOs Settle external ROC and REGOs trades in accordance with contracted terms Provide support for ROC/REGO inventory management, customer allocation, reporting and any customer queries. Customer Journey Enhancement Revamp the invoice presentation to enhance readability, brand alignment, and overall customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent and enhanced communication and design across all customer documentation. Collect feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve the customer journey. Collaboration & Teamwork Engage proactively with internal teams, including finance, commercial, and marketing, to ensure streamlined processes and accurate information flow. Participate in team meetings, offering insights, updates, and strategies to optimize the commercial portfolio management and customer journey. Continuous Improvement & Reporting Monitor, analyse, and report on KPIs related to invoicing accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. Recommend and implement process improvements based on analysis, feedback, and industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or commercial roles in the energy utility sector, specifically in a UK electricity and/or gas supply. Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in using Microsoft products and database systems. Proficient in relevant software and tools for billing and data management. Good interpersonal skills and able to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive tasks. Collaborative mindset with a keen focus on enhancing customer experience.
