The Role
As our new Senior Commercial Manager, in our fast growing Train Business Unit, you'll play a pivotal role in our growth in the UK and Europe.
In this Role, you'll get to
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the UK rail market
Identify and secure partnerships with key rail operators throughout the UK
Negotiate and secure competitive contracts to expand our rail booking offerings
Manage and grow relationships with existing rail partners
Oversee online sales channels for rail tickets and optimize performance
Analyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities
Set and achieve ambitious goals in your market
Communicate effectively and regularly with the company HQ team in Shanghai
What you'll Need to Succeed
8+ years of experience in business development, ideally within the online travel or rail ticketing industry
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building successful partnerships
Strong understanding of the UK rail market and its dynamics
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills fluent in English
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Data-driven approach with a knack for identifying trends and opportunities
A native level of English, and other European languages are a plus
